# LEMC instance

## SSH quick start

Replace USER with your LEMC username. Replace WORDS with words that describe the task; `apps search` returns the runnable actions that match.

Send all `lemcli` lines of one task in one batch. The batch stops at the first failing line and `ssh` returns its exit status. `ssh HOST <command>` is refused. A command that reads input takes an input block: end its line with ` <<TOKEN`, then send the input lines and a line that is exactly TOKEN. Quote the outer heredoc (`<<'EOF'`). To reuse one connection across calls, add `-o ControlMaster=auto -o ControlPath=~/.ssh/cm-%C -o ControlPersist=10m` (at most 4 channels, 1 hour; a Unix socket path holds about 104 bytes).

## Rules

- Commands need an SSH key that is registered in the Web UI.
- A Web-password login opens only the interactive shell, not piped lines.
- Skip actions that `jobs surface` marks `needs_setup`.
